Abhi Krishnaraj is an undergraduate senior at the University of Michigan, pursuing a major in Arts & Ideas in the Humanities with a minor in Biology. She joined the lab in her freshmen year through the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP). She has worked closely with the tDCS participants at the fMRI lab and helped present the research at the 2016 UROP Symposium. Since May 2016, she has also become a member of the research team editing the raw MRI brain scans using Freesurfer. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in medicine.
Lu Li is an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan and is pursuing a Statistics major and a potential Biology minor. Lu joined the lab in 2015 through the UROP program. Currently, Lu assists with the lab's projects on brain imaging in children who do and do not stutter, particularly using a program called Freesurfer to inspect and edit gray and white matter segmentation in raw MRI images. These data are then used to characterize neurodevelopmental trajectories in children.
Melissa Ruprich is an undergraduate sophomore at the University of Michigan studying Biopsychology Cognition Neuroscience. She joined the lab in the Spring of 2018 and edits MRI scans using Freesurfer. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school and is specifically interested in working with children.
Jaya Thyagarajan is an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience with a minor in Community Action and Social Change. She joined the lab in Fall 2017 and currently assists by editing white and grey matter in MRI images. She is also a Research Assistant for the lab’s ongoing PTSP clinical trial and assists with data management and MRI scans. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in healthcare.
Michigan State University
Raywa Masti is an undergraduate sophomore majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation at Michigan State University. She joined the lab in Summer 2018 and assists by transcribing videos of participants for analysis. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school and continue her passion for service and research.
