Lab Manager Position opening at MSU

The Speech Neurophysiology Lab is seeking to fill a lab manager position at MSU with expected work hours to be up 19 hours/week.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, demonstrate competence and efficiency in using various office programs, be meticulous and resourceful in maintaining lab databases, and be able to effectively communicate with research team members to facilitate various research procedures. This individual will also help with tasks that include, but not limited to: recruitment and scheduling of study participants, assisting in IRB applications and ensuring adherence to institutional regulations relevant to research activities, and assisting in purchasing and other day to day lab activities. Pay is competitive and will be commensurate with level of experience. The Speech Neurophysiology Lab always welcomes undergraduate students to volunteer in the lab at both campuses. These positions are typically unpaid and are obtained through research programs such as UURAF (at MSU) and UROP (at UM) or for course credit through independent study.
